Following on from the popular PPC2 & PPC3 plumbing courses, the PPC4 plumbing training has been designed in 3 stages, each of which is priced separately because once you have started stage one, you can legally work as a plumber without having to do either stage two or stage three.

PPC4 – Professional Plumbing Training Course

Significant discounts have been applied to the PPC4 plumbing training course for stages 2 and 3, to encourage your progress to further qualifications. If you decide to progress, you may enrol on stage two or stage three in any order as soon as you like after you have completed stage one.

Stage One PPC4 Plumbing Course – Qualifications

Stage one will enable you to commence working as a professional plumber as soon as you feel confident enough to do so. This stage includes ‘must have’ qualifications such as the Water Supply Regulations 1999 and the Domestic Installer Certificate to enable you to be a Part P registered electrician so you can legally install powers showers etc The CSCS card and First Aid Certificate is included to enable you to legally work on a house building or local authority site. All of the following qualifications are included.

The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating Systems C&G 6189 - (Includes 10 of the 12 units required for full certification. The final 2 units are optional and to satisfy industry regulations will require workplace assessment – see Stage 2)

Water Supply Regulations 1999 – Bpec

Hot Water Systems & Safety (HWSS) – Bpec  (Certificated in Stage Two)

Domestic Electrical Installer Defined Scope Part P Certificate

Essential Electrics – CITB certified

CSCS card

Appointed Persons First Aid Certificate

Stage Two PPC4 Plumbing Course – Qualifications

Stage Two will enable you to gain full NVQ Level 2 C&G 6189 accreditation by completing the final two 'workplace' units (you must be actually working as a plumber either employed or self-employed to complete the workplace units). You will also get certified for HWSS and get qualified to work in the ever growing renewable energy sector. All of the following qualifications are included.

The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating Systems C&G 6189
(The final 2 ‘workplace’ units required for the full NVQ Diploma which are achieved by way of workplace assessment)

Solar Energy Powered Domestic Hot Water Systems – Bpec

Hot Water Systems & Safety (HWSS) – Bpec certified
(Certification of the work you completed in Stage One)

Stage Three PPC4 Plumbing Course – Qualifications

Stage Three will enable you to gain the ACS accreditations you need to get onto the Gas Safe Register which will open up significant opportunities in gas appliance installation, maintenance and servicing. ACS Accreditations for Gas Safe Registration in the following are included:

CCN1 Core Gas Safety Certificate (mandatory)

CEN1 Gas Central Heating Boilers

CKR1 Gas Cookers and Hobs

HTR1 Gas Fires

WAT1 Gas Water Heaters

CPA1 Gas Flue Analysis

Completion of these ACS Accreditations will enable you to apply for registration on the Gas Safe Register.
