Solar Hot Water Installation Training Course

Solar Energy Powered Domestic Hot Water Systems - BPEC

In June 2008 The government unveiled plans to meet EU imposed targets to deliver 15% of the UK's energy from renewable sources by the year 2020. The plans will require around £100 billion of private sector finance which will be encouraged by the government with financial incentives.

It is anticipated that together with further legislation, the incentives will promote the increasing use of Solar Energy systems such as PV (Photovoltaic) and Solar Hot Water as well as other renewable energy sources both as a retro-fit into existing premises and for incorporation into new builds during construction.

Solar hot water installation panel for plumbing training coursesThe opportunity to participate in this new and growing market will not be restricted to the domestic sector. There are many commercial areas in which this type of installation will become increasingly more prevalent as anticipated subsidies become available and the UK strives to achieve its renewable energy targets.

This government sponsored initiative will undoubtedly kick-start a market that has up to now remained almost totally dormant because of long payback periods for investment made in Solar Energy equipment.

We have noted that many training providers are offering two day courses to train and certify students for Solar Hot Water installations. Clearly these courses are designed simply to enable a qualification to be gained and nothing more.

Our approach is more realistic; our course is a full week and is intended to prepare you for the real world by providing significantly more vital hands-on installation work on purpose-built roofs in Centre. This will enable you to become not just qualified but above all competent.

Although (only) Plumbers who have completed our PPC2 course can take Solar Energy as a separate option, why not take the opportunity to bolt-on the Solar Energy option to your PPC2 course on enrolment and get yourself established as an early participant in this potentially lucrative market? Your course reference would then become PPC3.

The advantage to you of selecting PPC3 is that you can include the cost of the Solar Energy option in whatever method of finance you choose to fund your course. Otherwise, if you did it later, you would have to pay the full cost of this option in advance.
